The coupe incarnation of the Mercedes C-Klasse is a highly anticipated vehicle. After being teased by multiple series of spyshots last year, we got to see the actual car in January. Back then, we could only enjoy one three shot that showed a chromed version of the vehicle.
However, three other images of the car have now leaked ahead of the car’s debut, which is scheduled to take place at the Geneva Auto Show. (the images were published in a German magazine and brought to us by autocar).
As you might know, the C-Klasse Coupe aims to kill to birds with one stone, as it will replace both the CLK and the CLC. The vehicle will be a direct competitor for the Audi A5 and BMW 3 Series coupe.
The changes (over the design of the sedan version of the C-Klasse) start from the A-pillars, with the vehicle using a sleek profile that manages to combine elegance with a dynamic image. As for the interior, this comes with the modifications offered for the entire C-Klasse range by the vehicle’s facelift.
As for the engine range, this will also be borrowed from the standard C-Klasse. The Coupe will also get an AMG version and may also become an even more machine, as Mercedes could develop Black Series for this.
autoevolution will be attending the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, so stay tuned for some real up close and personal shots of the vehicles, as well as for first-hand details of the motorized contraptions presented at the event.
