Often referred to as the first all-new Lotus since the Elise roadster in 1995, the Evora is going to boast Pirelli P Zero Tires, the only capable tires to enhance the dynamic performance of the car. The new Lotus will be shoed with 225/40ZR18 tires on the front wheels and 255/35ZR19 tires on the rear ones, according to a release by the manufacturer. Pirelli's tires are capable of providing superior grip while assuring the sharpest possible steering response, it added.

The future Lotus will rely on a 3.5-liter mid-mounted, transverse, DOHC engine that will produce a maximum power of 276 hp at 6,400 rpm and 258 lb-ft of torque at 4,700 rpm. As for the performance figures, the car is capable of achieving a maximum speed of of 162 mph (261 km/h), do the 0-60 mph in 4.9 seconds, 0-100 mph in 12.3 seconds and brakes from 100 mph to a standstill in 2.4 seconds or around 33.6 meters.
It will also feature a Lotus tuned Bosch ABS system with Hydraulic Brake Assist, Electronic Differential Lock and Electronic Brake Distribution. Additionally, the manufacturer installed ventilated discs on both the front and the rear as well as several aerodynamic enhancements, including a front spoiler, a flat underbody, a rear diffuser and a floating rear wing.
