Lexus is known to have started working on a new compact crossover to be placed under the current RX model. After seeing its test mule a while ago, Lexus has just released the first renderings with the actual LF-NX concept.
Reflecting a further evolution of Lexus’ L-finesse design language, the mid-sized will make its world premiere at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.

The LF-NX comes with a distinctive and powerfully chiseled styling. Its front fascia is dominated by a strong interpretation of the Lexus spindle grille, thin LED headlights with separate checkmark-styled daylight running lights an two ginormous side air vents, which all combined give the model a very bold and mean looking.

Continuing with the sides, muscular wheel arches, a pronounced diamond-shaped belt line and a steeply raked tailgate are creating a sleek but powerful coupe silhouette.

At the back, you can see highly articulated taillamps, which are projecting downwards to the full depth of the bumper that englobes a massive air diffuser.

The “Human Oriented” interior sculpted with bold, powerful forms creates a driver focused environment. It features an ideal upper display zone and a lower operation zone with touch-sensitive instrumentation as well as a new Remote Touch Interface.

All in all, the LF-NX concept looks astonishing and we can’t wait to see the physical version. See the renderings bellow.
