According to Autosblog.fr, new generations of Lancia’s Ypsilon sub-compact and Phedra Multi Purpose Vehicle will make their way to next year’s Geneva Auto Show, which will be held in March.
Many pieces of information connected to the two vehicles have been surfacing the web for quite a while now, increasing the public’s interest for the models.
The new generation of the Ypsilon will be underpinned by the Fiat Panda’s platform. However, the Lancia vehicle will have a wheelbase that will offer an extra 10 cm in length. The upcoming Ypsilon is expected to use an unconventional design that will make it a unique offer in its segment.
The sub-compact vehicle market is currently packed with vehicles that offer multiple approaches, so Lancia should make sustained efforts to offer a good mix between tech and fascination if it wants to get financial benefits from the future generation of the Ypsilon.
As for the Phedra, the vehicle won’t remain an Italian creation. This is because the MPV will become a restyled version of the Chrysler Grand Voyager. The minivan won’t be developed together with the Peugeot Citroen Alliance (PSA) as expected.
Returning to the Ypsilon, we must tell you that it’s debut date is not clear, with an unveiling potentially being scheduled for the Paris Auto Show, which will be held in September.
