The all-new Malibu mid-size sedan is the most important car in Chevrolet’s global ambitions, expected to be sold in 100 markets around the world. General Motors has just announced that production of their four-door has now started, with the first example having rolled off the production line in Korea.
Sales of the new Malibu will start next month in Korea, the first market to get the car. We find it interesting to see how times have changed, as both this and the new Colorado pickup made their debut in Asia not the US.

“The new Malibu is our most important product introduction of the year,” GM Korea President and CEO Mike Arcamone said. ”It will play a significant role in enabling us to attain our goals in the domestic market while ensuring that GM Korea becomes an important part of Chevrolet’s success in its second century.”

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
