Electronic Arts is almost ready to offer us more info on this year’s Need For Speed game, with an announcement set to arrive later today. Until gamers get to find that out, EA is teasing us with the image above and we have to admit this is full of clues.
For one thing, the vehicle you see here is a Rauh-Welt Begriff Porsche. This is an aftermarket company from Japan, who likes to deliver some of the most stunning visual 911 modifications out there.
In fact, we believe the exact machine that led to this teaser pic is a green Porsche that goes by the name of “The Illest RWB 911”, or RWB Pandora One. The car was featured on the Speed Hunters website back in November 2011, and you can see a photo of it below.
And speaking of Speed Hunters, whose name you can see on the Porsche’s rear tire, this is EA’s online car community, which is rumored to be involved in the development. While nothing is official yet, it only makes sense to have these guys, who are basically a team of editors, photographers and videographers, handle the game’s connection to the real tuning world. For one thing, they have done it with previous games.
By the way, the game is being developed by Swedish studio Ghost Games.
