You know that giggle you get when passing through a bend you drifted the other day and seeing the fun marks? Apparently, local authorities can have some giggles of their own. This is precisely what happened with the Muholland Public Service yesterday.
As you can see in the pic above, they decided to pull a trolling move on the drivers who like to live things sideways. Oh well, at least they only mentioned the hours when a drifting machine could encounter serious traffic. In fact, if you ask us, this is the best part of the sign.
Then again, we’re pretty sure everybody agrees that sliding a front-wheel driven car doesn’t qualify for drifting, which means that, technically speaking, traysliders couldn’t be accused of anything.
And perhaps the little slides, those that generate the amusingly tiny slip angles, also don’t count. Moreover, it’s not difficult to imagine that a monstrous drift is actually composed of a series of small slides, so this looks like another proper fashion to break the rules.
In fact, we’re wondering if the Raging Bull driver in the image is concerned about what the signs say. The Aventador is a car that keeps you fully engaged at 50 mph, so the poor guy may not have the possibility to read the entire sign.
PS: yes, the image may be fake, but the message is still amusing.
