The Volkswagen Touran is a vehicle that offers traditional Multiple Purpose Vehicle value in a typical German package.

This means that the vehicle comes with fair dynamic abilities, but nothing too extreme in terms of performance. However, MR Car Design has worked to develop a modification kit for the previous generation of the vehicle, in an effort to demonstrate that the Touran can become a sporty vehicle that offers exclusivity.

The vehicle’s 2.0 liter TDI diesel powerplant has received an ECU remap, a high-flow exhaust system and a new intercooler. The modifications allow the powerplant to deliver 223 hp and a maximum torque of 457 Nm.

To cope with the extra power, the vehicle has been fitted with a sports suspension provide by Weitech, which offers the driver more confidence through corners. In addition to that, the MPV rides on RS lightweight alloy rims that come in a 20 inch size and feature high performance tires, which have a size of 245/30 R20.

The vehicle has also received an exterior modification kit that offers it a distinct and aggressive appearance, without taking things too far.

The tuner has installed a front bumper add-on element that comes with sporty, clean lines. Moving to the side of the vehicle, we find a new set of side skirts that use a design which follows that of the front bumper. At the rear of the the car, the tuner has installed a new bumper that incorporates a dual exhaust with round, generously-sized tips.
