Great news for the MotoGP fans in Argentina, as Dorna signed an agreement with the Circuit Termas de Rio Hondo for 2014 through 2016, so it's back to South America for the MotoGP.
On Thursday, an official announcement was made that Termas de Rio Hondo will join the MotoGP series starting with the next season.

6 riders were present in Argentina for the maiden test riding: Crutchlow, Bradl, Bautista and Barbera, from the premier class and Rabat and Terol from Moto2.

LCR Honda's Stefan Bradl was the fastest rider on the new Argentinian tarmac, as he lapped 1m44s188. On Friday, some showers during the morning hours kept all riders at bay, as they decided not to take unnecessary risks.

As the weather cleared later, a the testing session was extended by 30 minutes, to allow the riders to make the most of the better conditions.

While Crutchlow, Bautista and Bradl focused on acquiring data for the bike setup and tires, Barbera was collecting data for Magneti Marelli. MotoGP goes to Germany next weekend, for the round at Sachsenring.
