As we were telling you earlier, Toyota Motor Corp. has announced that Gazoo Racing will attend this year’s 24h Hours Nurburgring endurance race by coming with three racecars.
Along with the Lexus LFA and Toyota GT 86, Gazoo will also use a special LFA Code X, which is said to enable study of the future sports car technologies. In comparison with the normal LFA, the Code X comes with a bigger 5.3-liter V10 engine and a full carbon fiber frame body that increases rigidity while also reducing weight.
Rumors are that this might be a mule for a production version LF-CC or even the second generation LFA.
