Missy Elliot was eager to get her hands on a brand new matte white Lamborghini Aventador that she agreed to give her Bentley and some extra money as a down payment to Fox Valley Motor Cars last year.
They agreed to deliver the car by mid-2012, but are now refusing to ship the car, saying the market value has risen since the contract was signed. Missy Elliot says they are practically holding the Lambo hostage, according to TMZ, and has decided to sue for breach of contract.
Usually, American tend to exaggerate and sue for no reason at all. But this time, we’re siding with Missy. A contract is a contract, even though it might mean the dealer loses money. Since Missy’s attorneys are also asking for damages, they could be losing a whole lot more.
In any case, the courts will decide on the matter, but the Aventador deserves to be on the road.
