Trying to make the Countryman a more attractive car for fleet managers, MINI just launched a special edition for them alone. Offering more kit for less money, the Countryman Cooper D ALL4 Business edition was specifically developed for the fleet market according to the Brits.
The special model sets itself apart on the market thanks to it standard equipment. That includes the MINI Navigation System along with the Multifunction steering wheel and cruise control. Parking sensors, automatic headlights and wipers are now included too alongside the all-wheel drive system as you might’ve guessed judging by the name.

Those are just the added features on top of the equipment the Cooper D comes with as standard. That includes 17” alloy wheels, floor mats in velour, the storage compartment pack, automatic lights, automatic air conditioning, on-board computer and the interior lights pack.

“The new ALL4 Business model has been specifically developed to cater for the needs of businesses with high residual values and low emissions, while also offering something fun and exciting for drivers. MINI has grown in popularity within the UK fleet market since the launch of the 5-door hatch last year, which has opened the brand up to new customers,” said Chris Brownridge, Director, MINI UK.

Under the bonnet of all the cars lies the same engine as before, the PSA-BMW developed 1.6-liter 4-cylinder diesel plant making 112 HP and 270 Nm (200 lb-ft) of torque. Performance is not all that great but fuel consumption is supposed to be as low as 50 mpg (4.7 l/100km) with 123 grams of CO2 released for each kilometer covered.
