We admit, the F20 1 Series is not the best looking car in the world at the moment but it will offer you one of the best driving experiences you'll ever come across, especially in the M135i version, like the one spotted cruising around the streets of Madrid that we're looking at today.
The M135i has an N55HP 3-liter 6-cylinder inline engine with 320 HP and 450 Nm (330lb-ft) of torque. It's available with either a manual 6-speed gearbox or an automatic 8-speed ZF one.
Weighing only 1,425 kg (3,142 lb) the 1er reaches the 100 km/h (62 mph) benchmark in only 5.1 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).
We can't help but admire the exquisite Mineral Grey Metallic paint job that looks absolutely stunning, especially on a brand new car like this. Unfortunately, the F21 M135i is not available on the US Market at the moment but if you live in Europe you can get it for a base price of €40,600 ($53,118) for the manual and €42,850 ($56,058) for the automatic.
