The Porsche Panamera Turbo is not the best sounding of the luxury four-door’s range, as the turbochargers take away some of the crispness of the sound, and even muffle it a bit. The best sounding Panamera is probably the GTS, with its naturally-aspirated engine.
However, Miltek have just launched a new exhaust system specifically designed for the Panamera Turbo. It is not the loudest or sportiest exhaust available for the Turbo, but with its balance of refinement at low engine speeds as well as the sporty growl at high revs, Miltek say it dramatically improves the driving experience under any conditions.
The system itself is made out of non-magnetic stainless steel, and it is 70mm wide throughout. Furthermore, it simply bolts onto the car, once the stock exhaust has been removed, and it does away with the center silencers, to maximize the efficiency of the system.
Also, like the best exhaust systems nowadays, it features valves which adjust the level of noise, depending on your mood - once the valves open, throttle response, along with the engine noise improve consistently. The system is proven to work with engines tuned to as much as 700 hp, so it should prove durable.
