While many guys who are not exactly big fans of winter are spending as much tine indoors these months, others come up with new ways to have outdoor fun, even though most people would say that they’re outright crazy. If you’re into experimenting new things and are not afraid to look your family and acquaintances straight into the eyes after publishing such a video online, here’s snowmobile wakeboarding, probably one of the coolest things we saw this winter.
You will need at least a friend who is as crazy as you are, if not more party fellows, possibly crazier. The more and the crazier - the better; this has always been a successful recipe for interesting things. You also need a snowmobile, a wakeboard or something which can be used in similar way, and very good neoprene body suits. And a stream of water, of course.

Good, professional-grade diving suits engineered for use in freezing water are an essential part for pulling through all this. They will keep both the rider and the wakeboarder dry and warm enough to keep hypothermia and frostbite away, allowing them the needed mobility. Having a girlfriend who can endure the cold wearing a swimsuit and enjoying a beer watching the whole thing is obviously a major bonus and will add major “style and crazy points” to the stunt.

Getting to know your way around the river bed is a very smart thing to do, and some reconnaissance work prior to pressing the record buttons on the cameras can eliminate at least one of the risks which come with the job. That is, you have better chances to make it home in one piece, with no broken bones and with the memory of a lifetime. And maybe doing something even wackier next time.
