Met-R Turns the Porsche Cayenne into a Radical Star

No, we won’t post the recording of this autoevolution office play on our Facebook page, but we’ll present you the latest modification package for the German SUV.

The already spoiled Turbo incarnation of the Cayenne has received a set of aftermarket goodies, with the vehicle’s appearance and engine being touched. The modification kit, which comes from Russian tuner Met-R, uses the Radical Star name, as CarDesign.ru reports.

The SUV has been gifted with a widebody kit (it seems like tuners are obsessed with widening the Cayenne now more than ever) that offers it a mean look. The aerodynamic pack includes a new front fascia with an aggressive look , wheel arch extensions that bring an extra 100mm in width, as well as a reworked rear fascia. This houses carbon fiber diffuser with a complex design, as well as quadruple exhaust tips. The car now sits on custom lightweight alloy rims.

The 958 Cayenne Turbo’s 4.8l V8 engine, which normally delivers 500 hp, now brings 556 hp to the game, a decent increase that will certainly be felt by the lucky person behind the wheel - or should we say on top of the gas pedal?

The aftermarket developer doesn’t want to tell us how it has played with the engine, so we'll have to guess: the aforementioned exhaust, a sports air filter and an ECU remap.
