With deliveries set to commence starting July 2013, the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG lineup for the United Kingdom has been revealed today.
Starting April 22, British customers are able to place their orders for two Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG models, the GT Coupe, which can be had from £165,030, and the Black Series Coupe, that has a starting price of £229,985.
The new SLS AMG GT comes with 591 HP (20 HP more over the standard SLS AMG) and 650 Nm of torque, an optimized AMG Speedshift DCT seven-speed transmision and a redeveloped AMG Ride Control Performance suspension. The GT version can reach 0 to 62 mph in just 3.7 seconds, a top speed of 199 mph and can return a combined mileage of 21.4 mpg.
On the other hand, the SLS AMG Black Series delivers no less than 631 HP and 635 Nm of torque, which enables the GT3-inspired supercar to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 3.6 seconds. When compared to the GT, the Black Series is 70 kg lighter than the SLS AMG thanks to its several carbon-fibre-reinforced plastic made body elements.
