Please notice the “Dead End” sign at the upper right corner of the photo above. This is exactly what we were hoping to find when asking about a velvet wrap on a car like the Mercedes SLS AMG. Unfortunately, it seems like the elegant nature of the Gullwing wasn’t able to protect it from such a treatment.
This black velvet-wrapped SLS AMG was recently spotted in Frankfurt. When noticing the camera, the car was so ashamed of the material it was forced to wear that it instantly turned around, so we only have a shot of the rear end.
We were probably naive to think that the SLS AMG would skip the Velvet thing - after all, other GTs, like Bentleys have been subjected to this too.
