Is the Mercedes SLK a good sportscar? Probably not, no matter what AMG engine or aftermarket equipment you get on it. But from a styling point, all the generations of drop-top have been stand-out vehicles.
Take this previous-generation model for example. It might have a silly nose that looks like a Formula One car, but it’s also a lot more interesting to look at than the Porsche Boxster, BMW Z4 and Honda S2000, it rivals from that era.
The guys at Re-Styling, our favorite Russian car wrappers, have done great work on an SLK which had been tuned with Carlsson parts and Lambo doors.
Even more of an unique image was achieved though adding chrome wrap, purple chrome wrap to be more precise. You have to admit, this car stands out, even though the result is quite girly... and the owner probably isn’t if he went for Lambo doors.
