Although we like our performance cars in a coupe form (rather than a cabrio), we are sure that this taste is not shared by all the customers of this segment. Those who like to enjoy hundreds of hp in a topless form now have one more option when it comes to buying a new car, as TC-Concepts has developed a modification package that offers the SL65 AMG a Black Series treatment, but retains the car’s coupe-cabrio capabilities.

Dubbed EXESOR, the kit blesses the SL65 AMG’s 6.5 liter biturbo V12 powerplant with new engine electronics and a modified boost control, together with a sport exhaust system, which includes low back pressure metal catalysts, as well as a modified air filter.

The vehicle has been fitted with a lowering module for the AMG adjustable sports suspension, which brings it 60 mm closer to the road. The supercar rides on TC Ultraspoke three-piece rims that use custom spacers, come in a 20 inch size and are wrapped in Dunlop tires (285/25 R20 for the front axle and 325/25 R20 for the rear one).

The vehicle is dressed in a Black Series bodykit that uses both carbon reinforced plastic (CRP) and genuine carbon. This includes a new bumpers, bonnet, wide fenders, side skirts, wide rear side panels, rear spoiler, rear diffuser, and redesigned mirrors.

The vehicle’s interior has also received special attention, as it features a SL65 AMG Black Series steering wheel, as well as custom elements for the dashboard, center console, switch gate, door handles, door pockets, side sills, seat covers and seat controls. In addition to that, the German tuner has fitted a new Alcantara - Nappa leather finish.
