The G-Class, or G-Wagon as some people like to call it, has so many fans and owners that not all of them have good taste. Now, we’re not talking about American rappers who put 22-inch chrome wheels on it. No, this is in Europe. More precisely a land of chocolate, good beer and democracy - Belgium.
There, somebody had the bright idea of tuning an older version of the G-Class into a G500 “Lang” (Long) Pickup Truck. The 2002 model that served as a base car was a G500 and after the owner was done looking at its regular SUV proportions, he added another 80 centimeters of wheelbase to make it into a pickup.
But after being driven for about 38,000 km (23,500 miles), the one-off truck is now up for sale on the German online auction site mobile.de for the cool price of €47,500 (about $59,700).
