Mercedes Benz Australia has worked together with AMG to create two exclusive vehicles for the 2010 Australian International Motor Show: the Concept 358 (a custom incarnation of the C63 AMG) and a special SLS AMG.
“Australia is one of our favourite markets,” said Mario Spitzner, Director Branding, Marketing & Sales Mercedes-AMG. “We were asked to create two unique AMG vehicles for the Australian International Motor Show. I hope you enjoy them as much as we did building them.”
The Concept 358 is the only C63 AMG in the world to be dressed in designo Pearl Orange paint from the AMG factory in Affalterbach. The vehicle is fitted with the AMG Performance Package Plus , allowing the driver to play with a total of 487 hp. The list of goodies also includes unique 19-inch multi spoke alloy rims finished in black, KEYLESS-GO and extended designo leather appointments.
As for the unique SLS AMG, this is the first and currently the only in the world to be painted in designo magno Night Black. The vehicle has also received a red finish for certain exterior and interior elements.
“Each Mercedes-Benz vehicle is special, but for this year’s motor show we wanted to go that next step and bring two world exclusives to show the Australian public,” Managing Director of Mercedes-Benz Cars Australia, Mr Horst von Sanden, said. “The unique C 63 AMG on display also unveils the AMG Performance Package Plus which Australian customers can now order from their local dealer in both Saloon and Estate,”
Australia is the fifth largest market in AMG’s global portfolio, with the sales lead by the C63 AMG model.
