Part luxury saloon and part musclecar, the Mercedes Benz CLS 63 AMG is not only among the best looking cars Mercedes has made, but with 525 hp at its disposal, it’s also among the most powerful.
German tuning firm MKB has decided to give the AMG four-door coupe a bit of extra flair and some more power, just to make sure the owner has enough.

And so, the 5.5-liter has been boosted from the 557 hp it had with the AMG pack to 700 hp and 1,000 Nm (737 lb-ft) of torque, which is probably enough to pulverize the tires in a couple of minutes. Mercedes really needs to offer all-wheel drive on this one as well.

As a result of the extra grunt, the CLS 63 AMG by MKB will go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds, which is 0.2 of a second faster than the already blistering time of the stock saloon.

Top speed is now restricted to 300 km/h (186 mph), but without this restriction, MKB says the car could do 340 km/h (211 mph).

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
