Mercedes has yet to reveal official the new CLA compact sports saloon, though it’s largely expected to debut at the middle of January in at the Detroit Auto Show.
But until the car actually rolls off the production line in Europe or the US, a miniature version has already been produced.
This is a 1/18 scale die cast model (as in toy model) of the Mercedes CLA. For those of you who aren’t familiar with the genre, that means the car is 18 times smaller than the original, which makes it about 24cm in length.
The body is built from metal which is cast in a special mold, painted and assembled into the shape of the CLA. The interior shows plenty of attention to details, and is fitted with sports seats, a designo leather dash and plenty of chrome. Working elements on the model include opening doors, boot and hood.
