Even though the Mercedes-Benz C-Class W204 model is on its last production leg, with a new generation coming in 2014, the car isn't exactly obsolete.
This is probably why the USA branch of Mercedes-Benz recently released a new commercial for the C250 Sport called “Alignment”.
The ad in itself is pretty science-fiction, with a very “I am legend” feel in the second half, although we feel that the more action bit is a little “hooney” for an executive, even if the model depicted is mildly sporty, especially for a base engine.
The Mercedes-Benz C 250 Sport sedan starts at $35,350 MSRP, has a 1.8-liter four pot that delivers 201 horsepower and 229 lb ft and comes standard with quite a lot of performance goodies, including 17-inch twin 5 spoke wheels and Agility Control suspension.
Its 0-60 mph acceleration takes 7.1 seconds, which isn't half bad for the smallest engine in the lineup and the cheapest Mercedes-Benz you can currently buy in the US.
