After yesterday we offered you the not-exactly-required official confirmation that Mercedes-Benz will indeed release a convertible version of the upcoming S-Class Coupe, today it's time to show you a rendering of how the model will actually look like.
Made by Remco Meulendijk, from the Netherlands, the rendering was obviously made using the Concept S-Class Coupe as a base model, but it shouldn't be too far from the real deal, especially since Mercedes-Benz has announced that the concept is about 90% of what we'll see as a production version at the North American International Auto Show, in January 2014.
Since the A217 Cabriolet will be technically identical to the C217 S-Class Coupe apart from its soft top, we say that Remco's speculation is rather accurate.
As you know, the S-Class Cabrio will be launched about a year after the coupe version, with which it will share the 4.7-liter, twin-turbocharged V8 in the S 500 and the upcoming twin-turbocharged V12 in the S 600. There is no confirmation about an S 63 AMG Cabrio version but the chances of that happening are pretty high.
