Mercedes Benz Jubilee Calendar Released

German manufacturer Mercedes Benz is getting ready for a very special 2011, as the company celebrates the 125th anniversary since its inception. To properly honor the event, the carmaker announced the release of a very special calendar, available in the Mercedes-Benz Museum Shop and online.

The calendar has been put together with the help of photographer Stuttgart Hans-Peter and will include twelve images from the Mercedes-Benz Museum. The price for the calendar is set at EUR29,90, but the calendar will begin being sold on October 15. More details and an order for the calendar can be found by accessing this link.

“The new Mercedes-Benz Classic calendar describes 125 years of the motor cars in large format. Each of the images is synonymous with the Mercedes-Benz brand,” the museum says in the presentation of the calendar.

“It illustrates the automotive history from a brand perspective: this unique collection of twelve photographs provides an emotional take on the interplay between vehicles and the architecture at the Mercedes-Benz Museum.”

Aside for the 125 years of history caught in 12 pages, Mercedes is also offering a perpetual calendar, meaning it can also be used beyond the year 2011.

There will probably more surprises coming from the German manufacturer related to the anniversary. Until then however, Mercedes' finest will be sent to Paris, where the local auto show is under two months away.

Several premieres are planned for the event, including the one of the new CLS. As you already know by now, an autoevolution team will be on site to catch all the exciting models to be presented there.
