As most of you probably know, Interbrand is making a top 100 of the world's most valuable brands each year since the year 2000, and three years ago their brand valuation methodology was the first to be certified as compliant with the requirements of the ISO 10668 international standard for monetary requirements for brand valuation.
Well, as it turns out, the Best Global Brands of 2013 saw Mercedes-Benz rise with 6%, making it the most valuable German brand in the top 100.

Sitting in 11th place, same as last year, the Stuttgart brand is right on top of BMW - the closest German brand on the list – and behind Toyota, with Apple being the most valuable brand in this year's top.

Currently the best sold premium manufacturer in Germany and gaining ground in the US and China, Mercedes-Benz is on a never before seen offensive of new models, with one of their main scopes being the return to the number one spot in terms of premium car sales until 2020.
