The Mercedes-Benz CL is celebrating its 60th anniversary and, before releasing a new generation of the S-Class which will serve as a base for the next generation of the coupe, Mercedes-Benz is introducing a new special edition.
Dubbed the Mercedes CL Grand Edition, this brings special exterior and interior features, with the list being headed by a Designo paint. The car rides on 20-inch alloy wheels, with customers being able to choose between a five-spoke or a 10-spoke design and is fitted with an AMG exterior package.
The list of exterior finishes includes three Designo finishes: Magno Cashmere, Mocha Black Metallic and Platinum Black Metallic. As for the interior, this comes with a few special features, such as “Grand Edition” badges that remind the occupants they are not riding in a regular CL.
The Mercedes-Benz Grand Edition is available with a 4.6-liter twin-turbo V8 producing 435 hp (the CL 500 BlueEFFICIENCY) and a twin-turbo 5.5-liter V12 unit that produces 517 hp (the CL 600).
