German automaker Mercedes-Benz is set to release upgraded versions of its SL Roadster and SL 63 AMG models in the United Kingdom.
Scheduled to hit dealerships in June 2013, the SL 350 and SL 500 will become available as AMG Sport models with additional standard equipment worth a combined value of £6,625, including AMG Sports Package for both the exterior and interior, electric glass sunroof and Parktronic.
This means that the roadsters will also gain 19-inch AMG five-spoke alloy wheels, lowered sports suspension, revised damper setting, AMG styled front/rear aprons and side skirts, and many more. Inside, customers will find perforated leather-wrapped sports seats, sports steering wheel with silver gear shift paddles, AMG floor mats and black fabric roof lining among other features.
Moving on to the SL 63 AMG, the updated version will get £1,500 worth of extra standard equipment, which consists of an electric panoramic glass sunroof and Parktronic with Active Park Assist. The SL 65 AMG will remain untouched.
