Another day, another teaser on the official Mercedes-AMG Facebook page, as the boys and girls in Afflalterbach are getting ready to unveil a new version of the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG at the upcoming LA Auto Show.
Yesterday we showed you a lower part of the fascia and front splitter from a mysterious SLS AMG model that the automotive media is calling the SLS AMG Final Edition.
Today it's time for another teaser, this time in the shape of a black light-alloy rim that appears to be the same model used on the Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Edition 507.
We disagree with all the other media outlets and maintain that Mercedes-AMG will simply release a new version of the SLS and not a farewell model.
If you'll bear with us for a few more hours we'll also have confirmation of what the model will actually be, but until that comes, keep your faith and don't believe uninformed “insider” articles from the established media just because they have an enviable history – hint: their name starts with “Auto” and ends with “Car”.
PS: despite your first guess, the teaser image above is actually much more important to the overall puzzle than the one we showed you yesterday.
