You know those video games where you have to eat other creatures with your monster to gain their strengths? We have the feeling this car swallowed a Golf, an Audi RS3 and a rally car, chewed the meat and spit out the bones.
The first AMG hot hatch ever made has a 2-liter twin-scroll turbo singe that makes 360 HP. Most two liter hot hatches take 6.5 seconds to reach 100 km/h (62 mph), but this one does it in 4.6 seconds.

Mercedes has decided Australian buyers might also need this type of performance and are making it available for order from AU$74,900 (€59,366 or US$77,731), with deliveries to take place in September.

That might seem like a lot for a hot hatch, but Mercedes-Benz Australia senior manager of corporate communications David McCarthy told CarAdvice.com.au that the A45 and CLA45 AMG will overtake the C63 AMG in terms of sales on this market.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
