Mercedes A Klasse Special Edition 2009

After presenting you the CL500 special edition (issued to celebrate the company's emblem 100th anniversary), the German manufacturer prepares the spring edition of the A Klasse, available immediately.

What sets this new A Klasse and its predecessor are exclusive features such as black radiator louvres, 16 inch titanium silver light-alloy wheels in a new 9-spoke design (tire size 195/55 R16) and a "Special Edition" badge on the mirror triangle. Also as standard, the A klasse comes with fog lamps and metallic paint finish.

On the inside, the differences are emphasized by a two-tone color scheme in black and gray and the use of high grade materials, including shiny black trim with a pattern and black velour floor mats with gray edging and an embroidered Edition label.

Automatically dimming rear-view mirror, an illuminated vanity mirror in the sun visor, separately adjustable reading lights in the rear, a reading light for the driver and illuminated front footwells make the A Klasse as user-friendly as possible.

A Seating Comfort package is also standard equipment, with a height-adjustable front passenger seat, seat cushion angle adjustment and lumbar supports for the driver and front passenger.

The Special Edition 2009 package is available for all models of the A Klasse, including those who benefit from the BlueEFFICIENCY package. The A 160 CDIBlueEFFICIENCY saloon is as fuel efficient as they get, using only 4.5l/100 km (62 mpg) and releasing 119g of CO2 every km.

The Special Edition 2009 A Klasse is a limited edition of 5,500 units. No pricing information has been released for the package.
