British company Keating Supercars has unveiled the prototype version of their upcoming supercar - The Bolt.
Designed by Anthony Keating and powered by a GM-sourced 7.0-liter V8 engine, the production version of The Bolt will weigh between 900 and 1200 kg (2,182 - 2,645 lbs), thanks to a carbon/Kevlar body, and deliver at least 640 bhp.
To make things more impressive, Keating says the vehicle will also get a twin-turbo 800 bhp version that will enable it to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in only two seconds and reach a top speed of at least 340 mph (547 km/h), which will set a new world speed record for production cars!
The numbers are a bit far fetched if you ask us, but Keating Supercars is obviously determined to make it happen since they’ve also announced that the twin-turbo will become available with a price tag of around £750,000 ($1,203,075 / €889,322). We’ll just have to wait and see...
