McLaren Mercedes Teams Up with Processia Solutions for 2010 F1 Season

McLaren Mercedes announced a new partnership with Processia Solutions for the upcoming season of Formula One. According to a press release issued by the Woking based team's official website, the product lifecycle management company will “work alongside the team to improve the software associated with the design, build and integration of its Formula 1 cars.”

In a Formula 1 team, you're always looking at ways to increase productivity, reduce production time and lower costs, while improving lap time. Our relationship with Processia Solutions enables us to not only manage the many and varied needs of a Formula 1 race team in an efficient way, but also helps us to improve and streamline many of those methods - which provides us with a competitive advantage,” said McLaren Racing's managing director Jonathan Neale.

Our involvement with the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes team marks a major milestone in the implementation of Processia Solutions throughout Europe. We're delighted to be able to showcase our expertise in product lifecycle management within Formula 1 – one of the toughest, most demanding and unforgiving environments in the world,” added Processia's vice-president Vincent Fraser.

The Canadian company's operations include the North American and European continents, with its services being used by several players in aerospace, automotive or transportation industries. Its services include business consulting, solution design, software development, application integration/SOA and full implementation services.

What made Processia Solutions an attractive business partner for McLaren Mercedes is their capability of implementing F1 car design solutions via improved productivity and cost-efficient measures.
