Matte Blue Metallic Mercedes SLS AMG

The aftermarket industry is currently wrapping everything from the CLS to the Aventador, and we can’t say that we mind.
There are of course cases in which automakers decide to do this on a limited production car, like what Ford did with the all-black Focus RS500.

However, for the most part, factory fitted matte paint is actually just that, paint, and not foil wrap.

If you want a BMW M5 or 6-Series Gran Coupe to be finished in a matte color, you can have one from BMW Individual. Mercedes on the other hand has the designo line.

This matte blue Mercedes SLS is different from what car wrappers can offer. The pain has metallic flakes, and even though it’s not as matte as some of the vinyl finishes out there, it’s still pretty cool.

The show car was filmed by JustinsSupercars at a private Mercedes Benz event in Germany. Besides the body color, it coolest feature is the silver carbon fiber interior.
