According to the latest research in the field of organized crime, the Chinese Triads currently have nearly 2 million members, acting on a global level and being constantly on the rise.
However, they are most active in China, luckily for us. Therefore when I saw this matte steel blue BMW E90 3 Series I immediately thought of a gang member.

Why? I’m not really sure but I assume it’s because of the cars I’ve been getting used to spotting in China lately. You see, over there people seem to have a tendency to mock cars and transform them either into drivable shrines or pink monsters.

When I saw a matte BMW on matching HRE P40SC wheels something in my mind clicked and got me thinking about illegal activities that require such a dark shade. Maybe I’m wrong though, who knows, but either way this is one of the best looking cars I’ve seen in Asia so far.

Furthermore, the body kit it’s wearing looks really close to the real deal and, if it wasn’t for the 2 pipes at the back, you’d have a pretty hard time figuring out that this isn’t an M3. This kind of craftsmanship is pretty rare in China.
