If you think racing motorcycles on closed tracks is dangerous, watch this footage from the Steve Henshaw International Gold Cup Road Races at Oliver's Mount in England and you'll get a taste of what road racing is really about.
Fact is, when it comes to 20 bikes racing on a narrow road, chances are that crashes move from 1 or two bikes involved to proper bike bowling. Add in the known "insanity" of riders in that part of the world, as many of them race in the Isle of Man TT, Manx, Ulster and similar events, and you've got one heck of a show.

Unfortunately, it's way cooler to see the guys getting to actual racing and gaze in awe at the inhuman speeds they reach, then seeing a bike pile-up and the race red-flagged.

And since we mentioned the IOM TT, chaps like Bruce Anstey and Guy Martin were part of this, too. Luckily, nobody seems to be seriously injured.
