Massa Laughs at Alonso Dissent Rumors

Felipe Massa admitted that the latest rumors regarding his poor relationship with new teammate Fernando Alonso are only a reason for laughter in the Ferrari garage. Following some reports in the Spanish media suggesting that he doesn't get along with Alonso as good as he was supposed to, Alonso was the first to insist everything is fine.

After Alonso's refusal to comment to the aforementioned allegations, it was Massa's turn to tell the media that nothing from those reports was actually true. In fact, he said everybody at Ferrari are laughing about it, as the two teammates have only good things to say about each other.

“When I read things like that I just laugh, because I know it is invented. There is a great atmosphere in the team, and there could not be trouble between us. Ferrari would not allow it,” Massa is quoted as saying to La Nueva Espana.

Additionally, the Brazilian driver insisted that Alonso has plenty of qualities that surprised him during these past couple of months, including his ability to be a fast-learner in the Ferrari garage.

“He very smart and quiet, with his feet on the ground, he knows how to work together and learn fast,” added Massa.

The two Ferrari drivers are scheduled to take the wheel of the team's B version of the F10 this week, at Jerez, where the 3rd testing session of the winter is scheduled at the Spanish track. The order in which they'll drive the new car is yet unknown.
