Here's a piece of very nice custom job done by M&M Customs on an old Honda CB550 and not only restoring the vintage bike to a great shape, but giving it a whole new life and frankly, making it sexy as hell.
Old Honda CB's usually mean new cafe-racers, especially as sometimes we tend to believe that those who engineered the CB's of old wanted t build a huge bike pool for the custom builders.

Kentucky-based M&M Customs went on a Craiglist search and found a mud-covered CB550 laying in the rain when not used as a dirt bike. After cleaning it and stripping down everything, the engine got an eye-catching shiny black paint job with racing red accents and even a racing number painted directly on the clutch cover.

The subframe was reworked to fit the new Dime City rear cowl and Dunstall tank. Mike of M&M Customs has done an awesome job in terms of the fluid lines connecting the generous tank with the sporty seat, and that's why his CB550 looks more like a factory vintage racer, than a custom bike. Some might hate the tails light and Mike himself calls it the ”Urinal Trap lamp” but it really looks different and sports awesome integration with the bike.

With a sparkling combination of candy red and elegant white paint job, the bike secured a “Best Cafe Custom” award at the Barber Vintage Festival and this means we can expect more nifty bikes from Mike McFadden and his M&M Customs.
