LVMS, NASCAR to Host Chasers for Charity Fanfest

NASCAR announced yesterday it will host the Chasers for Charity Fanfest on December 2, at the Las Vegas Motor5 Speedway's Neon Garage and Blackjack Club. The event is the start of this year's inaugural Champions Week in the city.

"One of the key elements to bringing NASCAR Champions Week to Las Vegas was creating an event for race fans," Chris Powell, LVMS president told NASCAR.

"This event will bring the drivers and the fans closer together and raise money for charity in the process. We're very appreciative of NASCAR's efforts to make this a special fan event that we hope becomes a tradition during Champions Week."

Chasers for Charity Fanfest will be made up of a charity event, featuring the Cup Series champion and drivers in the Chase. It will begin with a presentation of the Chase drivers through the Neon Garage, ending with a roast of the champion in the Blackjack Club.

Those interested in attending need to save $250 and get in line to save one of the 300 seats available. On December 2, fans can enter free of charge to view car displays and live shows.

Being a charity event, NASCAR and LVMS will donate the proceeds of the event to Speedway Children's Charities.

Tickets to the event can be purchased by following this link, or by calling 1-800-644-4444. The event itself is larger, with additional details to be released by the organizers in the coming weeks.
