Low Cost Russian Drifting Makes Winter Fun: Gymkhanski

You don’t have to live in Russia to know that their winters have the potential to bring your mood down and keep it there. Well, it seems that one of the best ways to get over this is to... drift your way through the cold season.
The video below showcases a Russian rallying drifting session that’s guarantee to cheer people up. The action takes place on a litly rugged tarmac course and there’s plenty of high slip angle action.

As for the cars, most of them are obviously Ladas, with their RWD setup making oversteering the house specialty. Nevertheless, these are accompanies by automotive creations such as AWD Imprezas and a Ford Sierra.

There’s even a GAZelle van, whose driver finds out just how thing the border between oversteer and understeer is. We’ll stretch things a bit and label this under “Gymkhanski”.
