As far as superheroes are concerned, The Incredible Hulk is in a class of his own. After being bombarded by Gamma radiation, doctor Bruce Banner turns into a green monster fuel by rage and anger. Wherever he transforms, you can bet there's going to be a lot of collateral damage. The upside is that his might is of galactic proportions, matching the strongest villains in the universe.
The Hulk has recently stared in a couple of his own movies and was an integral part of two Avengers blockbusters. However, the franchise is much older than that and we really can't think of the green monster without remembering Louis Jude "Lou" Ferrigno.

Before the era of computer-generated special effects, this guy played the Hulk using hard work at the gym and a bit of green paint. In his youth, this legendary bodybuilder stood 6 ft 5 in (1.96 m) and packed on 285 lb (130 kg) of pure muscle. You guys probably knew that, but did you know he owned a VW Beetle in the 70s?

That was kind of a tight squeeze for him back in the day, but Ferrigno definitely doesn't have such problems with his all-new 2014 Volkswagen Beelt GSR, that's the yellow one on the right, in case you were wondering.

Normally, we would have to make a joke about how this macho man is driving a chick's car. But it's just not true. The 70's Bug might have been a little bit gutless, but the Beetle GSR really isn't. Launched in 2013, this is a remake of the 1970s GSR for the modern era.

Mostly, it's about the looks, which are better than your average coupe thanks to the R-line body kit, some big 19-inch "Tornado" aluminum-alloy wheels shod with 235/40 tires and yellow paint. But at its core, the GSR packs a 210-hp 2-liter turbo engine, similar to the one in the older Golf GTI. This takes the car from 0 to 62 miles per hour in as little as 6.9 seconds and on to a top speed of 130 mph or 209 km/h.

Of course, Lou Ferrigno is a big guy, so that will somewhat hamper the acceleration and handling.
