American actress Lindsay Lohan has been sentenced to five days in jail, which will be commuted into a 90-day rehab stint, after pleading no contest to charges over a 2012 car crash case.
Lohan has finally pleaded no contest to charges of reckless driving, lying to cops, resisting and obstructing an officer in the course of duties for a car accident that took place in June 2012, in Los Angeles.

According to CNN, the 26-year-old actress was also given 18 months of psychological counseling and 30 days of community labor, which she will be allowed to carry of in New York, where she lives with her family.

Furthermore, the "Mean Girls" star's probation was extended for another two years, and Lohan was advised not to drive while under scrutiny. "A suggestion: Don't drive," the judge told Lohan on Monday. "You're in New York - you don't need to drive."

This was the final warning for Lohan, who will do time behind bars in case of a new probation violation. This is it," Judge Dabney added. "You violate your probation, and we’re not going to have discussions of putting you back on probation. Please take these conditions seriously."
