Launched back in 2008, the X6, BMW's first Sports Activity Coupe, received a slight facelift this year and everyone is waiting for the new model to show up. However, judging by BMW's policy so far, we won't be seeing a new X6 before 2015.
The high-performance version, the X6 M was released in 2009 and ever since it has been giving Priuse drivers around the world a cold chill down their spine whenever they see it in the rearview mirror.
Right about now, BMW is planning to release a limited edition BMW X6 M dubbed 'Design Edition'. This 100-units limited run model will be featuring BMW's M Sport colors on the sides and the bonnet alongside a new splitter on the front bumper and a new spoiler for the tailgate, both out of carbon fibre.
The interior will also benefit from bi-color Merino leather with contrast stitching, some red accents on the dash and black Pinano trims. The wheels will measure 21 inches and will be sporting a unique M design.
