Li-ion Inizio Supercar Comes This September

This is the first time we hear anything from Li-ion Motors Corp, let alone its Inizio electric supercar... This hasn't stopped us however from having a looksie into the company and its soon to be product and we must admit, if the figures turn out to be true, the Inizio will surely be a kick-a** car.

Set to be presented this September, the Inizio is an all electric supercar which brings a naught to sixty acceleration time of only 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 170 mph (270 km/h). The great thing is you will not have to pull over as soon as you've hit the sixty, because the supercar reportedly has an operating range of 250 miles (400 km).

The other features of the supercar are highlighted below:
  • larger than average cockpit allowing for taller customers
  • fully tunable chassis
  • raise and lower function for easier entrance and exit, as well as handling steep curbs and driveways
  • removable hardtop
  • multi-function power Seats including heating and cooling
  • chassis built with optional extreme power plants
And that pretty sums it up for the car. As for the company, well, things are a bit more complicated. Li-ion Motors Corp is actually the third name for a company which started out as Hybrid Technologies a few years back. It started by converting existing vehicles like the PT Cruiser into hybrids until it decided to change its name into EV Innovations. By then (2008), they began work on the aforementioned Inizio (dubbed in early 2009 Inizio EVS-7 Super Car) and later changed names in Li-ion Motors Corp.

If you need to make a better idea about the company, there are several consumer reports circulating on the Internet regarding Li-ion's products. You can find one at the following link.
