The Lexus Design Award is an international competition developed to target designers from different creative fields and support their creativity in the future.
Lexus’ Design Award reached its second edition this year, aiming to attract more than 1,300 submissions from more than 70 countries with the new theme - Curiosity.
This year’s theme reflects the importance Lexus places on both the quality and the impact of its designs. Adding an element of curiosity to the creative process can result in more engaging and exciting products for customers.
A jury of six experts will select 12 winners, that will get the chance to expose their works in a public display at the 2014 Milan Design Week next April. Two overall winners will be given 5 million yen (£33,500) to develop their designs into prototypes.
Applications can be made here and the closing date for entries is October 15th.
