The all-new GLE-Class Coupe was unveiled in January, at the North American International Auto Show, so it’s safe to say we’re looking at a fresh model. Formally known as a Sports Activit Coupe, it reached the market from the second half of this year. In Germany, Lewis Hamilton is in charge of promoting the vehicle.
The range is topped by the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S-Model, powered by a new 5.5-liter twin turbo V8 producing 585 bhp and 768 Nm of torque. We’re mentioning this model because we quite enjoy the sound of it. The message with this particular video is that the right technology decides the race. Here’s Mercedes’ story:

The new Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupé caters to the driver's individual preferences with up to five drive programs that allow the vehicle's driving characteristics to be changed. One turn of the controller on the center console suffices, and Dynamic Select will adjust the parameters of the steering, drive system and suspension in accordance with your need for comfort or individuality.”

Regardless, this video is not just about the new model Mercedes-Benz is so proud of, but it’s also about sharing some of that Formula One knowledge Lewis Hamilton has gathered throughout the years. We haven’t yet found a way to the grammar the two-time F1 world champion is using, but we get the idea.

At some point, he goes “I’ve always wanted to push the boundaries of the limits.” Funny, we thought a boundary is a limit, which means Hamilton is using two nouns with the same meaning in the same sentence. What was that mistake called again?

Other than that, he is kind enough to remind everybody that there’s a high amount of G-force that hits every Formula One driver that is not so easy to bare. Indeed, engineers and F1 teams spend a lot of time and money to keep their drivers in the best physical shape possible.
