Whenever you have something that is tall and top-heavy, extra attention needs to be paid so as not to upset the balance. However, some vehicles, no matter how safe they may appear at first, are not. In this video, a rather large piece of machinery, which to us just looks like an oversized forklift, was lifting a steel beam up to the roof of a construction site, in Sweden.
However, the forklift starts tilting forward, under the weight of the beam/girder, and despite dropping it off on the building’s roof, it is still destabilized. In an effort to get it back on all four wheels, the driver gently tries to move. However, he overcompensates, and it falls to the ground and lands on its back, trapping the driver inside, and requiring a ladder to get him out.
Thankfully, it did not crush anything in the fall, despite being near a rather crowded street, with lots of cars passing by.
