Lamborghini Races into Mexico

The Raging Bull has reached Mexico - Lamborghini has announced that it has inaugurated two dealerships in the country.The first, Lamborghini Mexico City, was inaugurated on October 26 and is located on one of the city’s busiest streets, Insurgentes Sur.

This was followed by Lamborghini Monterrey on October 27, which is situated in the municipality of San Pedro, Nuevo Leon, the so-called “Beverly Hills of Latin America”. Lamborghini held a special opening event for the Mexico city dealership, with VIP such as politicians and guests from the country’s racing, sports, business and arts sectors attending the event.

These new dealerships represent Lamborghini’s commitment to expanding our presence in North America,” says Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. “Our Mexican clients love the brand for its unique values of being extreme, uncompromising and unmistakably Italian.

The two facilities are owned and run by Martin Josephi Wellmann, a 40-year old automotive industry veteran, who previously held the President and CEO role for Volkswagen of Mexico. Subsequently, the executive entered the luxury vehicle manufacturing, import and sales sector. His son, Martin Josephi Pacheco, who worked with him for Daimler AG, has been appointed as Commercial Manager of the dealerships.

Both dealerships offer the full range of services for Lamborghini cars, including sales and service facilities.
